Frame the World, Capture the Moment: Journey into the Art of Photography
Description
A picture speaks a thousand words. Transforming work into pleasure. Students will be taught to operate a digital camera to capture some of the most stunning and intriguing pictures fit to impress judges! They will also plan, explore and write an article on a given theme. Armed with the image capturing device, our adventurers will snap images to enhance their story-telling skills created with publishing software. Students will complete 1 or 2 photo journalistic projects showing appreciation for layout skills and creative writing expression. Outline: • Handling a digital camera • Shooting technique • Picture composition • Introduction to the use of images in articles • Photo taking sessions • Introduction to Microsoft Word • Creating a short article • Presentation of photo journal
